Printmaking processes involve a matrix or plate, from which a number of works can be printed. While matrices or plates can often print the same image many times, Bright’s chosen processes are usually unable to be reproduced, emphasising experimental and spontaneous textures and marks. Ideas are often an intuitive response within the process of making, allowing the unpredictable to come through.
